Liberty Composites
Liberty Composites, a division of Liberty Aerospace, is a proven leader in the design and manufacture of aviation carbon fiber structures. These capabilities are complimented by its state of the art composites testing, assembly and paint facility. Liberty's expanding global customer base includes not only the aerospace industry, but all industries where carbon fiber may provide a marketing or design alternative to enhance their product.
The company is based in Melbourne, Florida, USA. The parent company designs and manufactures general aviation aircraft and parts and had attained FAA Type 23 and a Production Certificate for the IFR certified Liberty XL2. Liberty is recognized as a leader in advanced technology piston engine market and is the only manufacturer of a two-seat IFR certified aircraft that is currently in production.
After several attempts to find a reputable composite facility that could provide cost effective, quality products on a reliable and timely basis, Liberty Aerospace elected to bring this critical process in house and initiated Liberty Composites in 2004.
Having been in operation for about 4 years, Liberty has successfully produced more than 150 composite fuselages, cowls, doors, belly fairings, and thousands of smaller miscellaneous parts. Liberty also has successfully designed and fabricated nearly 100% of its own lay-up, trim, route, drill, bonding, and assembly fixtures and tooling.

We is one of the few companies that has earned the coveted FAA-AGATE Approval for its composite parts manufacturing facility.
